EarthFirst Technologies, Incorporated is a specialized holding company owning subsidiaries engaged in developing and commercializing technologies for the production of alternative fuel sources and the destruction and/or remediation of liquid and solid waste.  In addition, the Company supplies electrical contracting and power system design/build services on a global basis.

 

EarthFirst is continuing to identify commercial applications for remediation of solid waste using the Company’s proprietary Catalytic Activated Vacuum Distillation (CAVD) Process, a superior technology developed by EarthFirst to recycle tires and other waste by heating the material without burning it. The technology evolved from the Company’s close working relationship with Oak Ridge National Laboratory and scientists from the newly independent states of the former Soviet Union. WESCO manages global sales and marketing of EarthFirst’s CAVD plants and by-products produced by the Company’s waste remediation process.

 

As a result of the completion of various undertakings in 2004 including the acquisition of WESCO, the completion of the CAVD plant in Mobile, Alabama and the acquisition and reorganization of EME, the Company is on solid financial footing with extraordinary prospects for profitable growth.
